I work with adults in both Hungarian and English.
In my work, I focus not only on what may be causing difficulties in the present, but also on the experiences, relationships, life circumstances and recurring patterns that may lie beneath them. You may choose to work with me on issues including trauma, grief and loss, grief following the loss of a pet, relationship and behavioural patterns, developing and maintaining healthy boundaries, emotional difficulties, life transitions, as well as questions related to self-awareness and personal growth.
My approach also incorporates mindfulness, positive psychology and intentional living. I have spent more than two decades of my life abroad in multicultural environments, including London and Dubai. As a result, I also have personal experience of the challenges surrounding cultural differences, living abroad, adaptation, identity, belonging and starting over. Having lived and worked among people from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds for many years, understanding and respecting cultural and religious differences is particularly important to me. I find it easy to connect with people whose backgrounds, values and life experiences differ from my own, and I always consider these differences within the context of each person’s individual life and world.
In my work, I value direct, open and genuine communication. Every person’s story, experiences and circumstances are unique, which is why I do not believe in a single approach that can be applied to everyone. My aim is to help you develop a deeper understanding of how you function, recognise the patterns and connections that influence you, and identify changes that are genuinely meaningful and achievable for you.
I believe psychological work should not focus solely on difficulties. It can also help you understand yourself more deeply, recognise the values that matter to you, make more conscious and intentional choices, and create a life that is more closely aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
